A Deeper Look into CMG Artist HARDAWAY...
On June 13, 1988, A star was born by the name of Demare Hooten-Lacey, who also goes by Hardaway. His life has consisted of constant movement between the states, but the early friendship between other CMG members Pizzle and Dooch have always remained, although all members share a bond to be envied by most. When asked about what it means to be a part of CMG, he responded:
"..CMG is a brotherhood, a family to me.."
"..CMG tatted on my wrist."
His responses show the inexplicable bond with his brothers/music members. Hardaway was introduced to the music industry at a young age. His father would beat on the table and ask him to come up with words and he has continually worked hard at it. Growing older, he mostly found great influences in Nas, Cassidy, The Roots, Jay-Z and State Property. He has not allowed the struggles of his past determine or dictate his future. The optimism of the future of CMG has his head high above the clouds; as it should. His full time music career is on the rise. He has been featured on Young Renz's Latest album The Acceptance Letter, Jae Ace's Portraits of Hours, Dooch's Smoking Loud In The Library & Insomnia & Fame In Vain by Pizzle. Lately, he has been busy perfecting his latest craft and has yet to release it but stay tuned! The sweet, melodic voice and comforting lyrics will make anyone love Hardaway.
